I regret to leave this review, but I feel compelled to warn others about my experience with Park Place Apartments. My time living there was marred by constant issues that stemmed from their predatory tactics and abysmal management. From the outset, communication was incredibly poor. I wish I could give 0 stars. I lived here for a year and could not wait to get out. Management is rude, maintenance is rude and slow. Garbage is never picked up and is just left to build up in hallways causing the building to stink. The building is deteriorating because the tenants are messy and maintenance is terrible. Don’t believe what you see on a tour. They take you to the 1st and 6th floor which they keep much cleaner from the rest of the floors because they know they have to bring you through those areas. I lived here during my senior year at LSU in a 5 bedroom apartment. It started out promising, but the year was by far the worst experience I have had living around LSU. The apartment itself had loose floorboards, a musty smell which caused congestion, and small everything. The stairwell constantly is never clean with sticky drinks spilled and the handrails off the walls or loose. The elevators are often broken.
