Athena at Park Place in Mountain View is very capable and helpful. She has helped me understand options for me that were difficult and she made them easy for me to understand. She has patience, is intelligent, and knows her job. If you are considering leasing an apartment in Mountain View I recommend Park Place and Athena.

Living here requires an exceptional level of tolerance for ongoing issues, safety, maintenance, noise, because communicating problems to the management team is incredibly frustrating. Management often deals with complaints by simply postponing their response and actions, and eventually residents will give up. We have been tenants in Park Place South for more than a year now. The location is great, and so is the community! It’s really dog friendly as well. Our only gripe is with the management/service team, especially regarding appliances that don’t work as intended. The AC in our unit hasn’t worked well from day one, it keeps running all night and still doesn’t reach a the (reasonable) target temperature. Instead of taking responsibility and on top of things, the management often deflects the problem back to tenants, pointing the wrong directions, or lie about their actions and timeline, even though it's clearly their duty to maintain safe and sanitary living conditions. Deducting points as management lies about rat situation. I just walk around and check there's no single bait station placed. Rats seems already dwell here and running crazy inside the community, and I even just saw one while walking around. People can not enjoy their outdoor environment safely for recent weeks and it's a joke that the management say they act immediately and resolved the issue.
