The staff is friendly and the property is mostly well maintained. The proximity to Castro and all its great cafes/restaurants is unbeatable. And it's across the street from the library and 2 parks. Whenever a maintenance ticket is requested, it gets resolved very quickly. The issue I have is that the staff seems to overfit on what gets measured. Prometheus seems to measure management performance based on google reviews, occupancy rates, and time-to-resolution of maintenance tickets. And thus these metrics score really well.... read more

Very sketchy landlords. Won't return deposits, even when the damage to the unit was their fault. I lived on the top floor. A drainage pipe inside a wall got blocked and leaked. They fixed it but then when I wanted to move out a year later, they wouldn't give me my deposit back due to water damage that was only visible if you pulled up the carpets... even though the damage was caused by their infrastructure. Sketchy, very sketchy.
Do not rent a lower floor home. I strongly advise against renting a lower-floor unit at Park Place Apartments. It is completely impossible to rest or relax due to the severe noise transmission from the units above. Management has decided to remove the carpets from the bedrooms on the higher floors, which has resulted in unbearable noise. The constant sound of heavy footsteps and loud ceiling creaking makes it literally impossible to sleep.
