Great place to live if you:1. Enjoy having an alcoholic manager and maintenance man 2. Do not mind not being able to get anything repaired in your apartment3. Neighbors who do not know how to keep their nose out of other peoples bussiness4. A Owner that has no clue what is really going on5. Want to live in a place where the rent is way to high for the quality of what you get.Do not be fooled by the looks of the outside of these buildings. The Manager and Mantance man care more about getting drunk and fighting at all hours of... read more

i have lived here for about a year, the manager Milka is great. The location is wonderful and convienantly located near everything you can imagine. Maintenance responds in a timely mannor. the only downfall is that the residences ae nasty and filthy. the apartment is roach infested and when you think you have gotten rid of your roaches beware because you will then get more and more. i myself have lost the battle of the roaches and they rarely come to spray my place for them. the disposal is disgusting and people pee and spit... read more

My son will be attending Mendocino College in the fall. I have been looking for a one bedroom apartment for him. We went to go look at Park Place. Upon arriving at the property, my first negative experience was that there is no parking. It became even more apparent as I had to weave through the driveway where several vehicles were parked in no parking zones making it difficult to get through. After finding a parking space all the way in the back, we went to the office to find it locked and had to ask a tenant where we could ... read more

Palatka Oaks is great for FloArts students. I rent a 2 bedroom apartment with two other students and pay around \$350 or less a month, which includes utilities, cable TV, and water. My share of the rent is a little over \$250. My share of the cable and electric is around \$80 - \$100. If I were renting the apartment by myself it would be too pricey. The apartments are nicer appointed than a dorm room. We have a nice sized kitchen with a dishwasher. We have a good sized living/dining room with cabinets and shelves. We have a ... read more

I live there for close to 7 years and I cant really recall any bad experiences. I paid my rent on time, and whenever I needed something fixed, I got immediate service. Tammy Dolphin was the manager and she ran the complex efficiently. The one downside, the neighborhood has taken a downturn. But otherwise, Id high recommend this complex to anyone. Rent includes all utilities, my two bedroom, one bath was \$585.00 a month.
