Please pay an extra 100 a month at another complex because tou end up paying more at the end of the lease instead of cuffing uo 1200 throughout the year. I had my electric bike stolen even though it was locked and they claim to have a gated community but the gate is open 90% of the time. The direct deposit being low is a trap because you never get it back and it doesn even cover a quarter of the charges they have on you by the time your out. My windowsill molded when it rained which made the back of my shelf mold and the underside of my desk mold and some of the stuff on my desk got mold on it too. Then some of the stuff in my room that was dry got mold on it too. Please do not move here
Terrible management. Tried to charge us $3200 in moving out fees when we paid for professional cleaning before we left. My wife was pregnant with twins on bed rest and could not walk up stairs so we had to move out of the complex as there is no access to the apartments without going up stairs. They made a concession and wrote in an email that we could get out of our contract early with no additional fees. I understand that most apartment reviews are extremely biased, but I wanted to take the time to write a fair review and mention an incident which is currently not being resolved by Elan property management. Location near to Carlsbad Village is ideal. It is a quick and safe walk evening or day and I enjoy having the option to dine at a nearby restaurant without having to drive.
