I applied to an apartment here, however I did not proceed further due to the lack of communication from the office staff. I have called and left voicemails multiple times, but I was never able to get a hold of any office staff. In addition, I have also sent multiple emails asking what I can do to complete my application due to the leasing consultant Moriah requesting further information. I was grateful to have the place that we did but unfortunately found that they aren’t fully honest. I have always gotten my damage deposit in full and while their welcome package says “unless found damages you may be required to pay”. They don’t indicate that straight off the bat they take a cleaning charge immediately off the damage deposit regardless if they find it damaged or not. Beware. You don’t get to see their move out assessment and they deduct from your damage deposit no matter how well you leave it. We took pictures and they didn’t, but that didnt matter. Cleaning fee is mandatory, even though the lease doesn’t state that it is. Not the place for you if you are a good tenant. @ParkPlace - please don’t respond with a note to contact your office to chat. We have already done that.
Though I was thankful I was able to get approved at the time when it was really crunch time to find a place, I am so thankful to not be living there no longer for many reasons. Sure the office staff is nice but they are not great at communicating things or jumping on things when it’s brought to their attention. Many times the office closed early, no one would answer my calls, or even follow up on a voicemail or email.
