If you want a review by a long time resident, read on. The pros: -The location is the primary selling point for this place. -Having two pools is nice to have. -No monthly pet rent but there is a one time fee of a few hundred dollars. The Cons: -Inconsistent maintenance. They may waste time with someone from the office to try to fix it first before spending the money and effort to get a plumber, electrician, etc to come. I would not recommend anyone to live here. The price for this place isn't worth of paying. They will get your car towed without you knowing it. He come every day looking forward in towed the Residence car away. The place is very nasty units trust me i know. They have it bad with Roaches in unit. The hallway always smell like Animals and dog hair always in the hallway. Really 2.5. I lived here for about two years. The first year was good a few hiccups. I moved in with no AC in the middle of the summer. They were able to accommodate. Had problems with my washer machine which they quickly fixed and helped with. But my fridge took months to be solved. I loss food and went without an ice maker for several months. No compensation. They actually marked my maintenance request as completed before they even replaced the fridge. The icing on the cake was pest control breaking the oven door, which wa... read more
I don’t live here but I am actively looking for places. I am extremely upset to see a review that someone who is handicap is expressing how the place is not accessible to them is fought with by the team at Park North. Get it together and maybe work towards finding solutions for someone who lives there. Put in some extra handicap spots. Maybe see if you can install a button on the garage doors that would open it for her. She literally just wants to access her home, don’t fight her on that.
For most people, this is a nice place to live, but terrible if your handicapped! Elevators are always out of service. They don't provide adequate handicap parking. They only have two spaces per floor. They expect you to park on other floors which can be 3-4 times further away from your unit. Many of the garage doors are very hard to open which is also hard on handicapped people and for bringing items in. I wish I had known when I moved here these problems existed for handicapped people.
