I am so hurt and felt so hurt broken treated me as young somali American today, it’s was so hurt broken to see my own doctor Rosa c given ( white doctor) showed me to the point she slammed the door on me. I left there crying feeling unwelcome. As a human, I don’t know who to trust with my life anymore. If Doctor started training people like this, it’s very scary.😭🙅🏽♀
Find a clinic that respects your time. I showed up 25 minutes early and wasn't seen because of a typo they made. The receptionist mistyped a digit in my insurance info and spent the next half hour on the phone trying to fix the error. By the time she finished, it was 11:01 — one minute past my 11:00 appointment. I wasn't allowed to keep my appointment and was told to reschedule. Blood draw receptionist smug and persnickety about making appointments, frowning on walk in when unable to schedule aprox. time due to conditions. I think its time for a change of provider.
