DO NOT RENT HERE! Park Meadows/Centerspace treats its residents and their employees terribly. They claim to be smoke free, but do absolutely nothing when their residents smoke on the premises and leave butts all over the place. They routinely disregard any concerns, including illegal activity taking place. They refuse to respond or acknowledge their residents by never answering the phone or responding to emails. Absolutely horrible management (especially Angie) who treated my elderly mother very badly. Agreed upon one price and and when we went to sign the lease they raised the price without justification. Angie flat out lied to my mother. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!
The complex is overwhelmed with very rude, ignorant, disgusting community. That makes it an uncomfortable place to live.
If you plan on living here please keep in mind IRET no longer does rental references. Meaning that if you move to a new place, they ask for previous rental history and need a confirmation that you lived there. Most places that rent require this but landlords are not required by law to do it. Park Meadows has changed their policy and its real unfortunate. the rent was never consistent, they charged whatever they wanted. I stayed there a long time cause the rent was inexpensive. At one point I was paying $550 for a one bedroom, not bad. It was never renovated, they kept jacking up the price and half the time I felt they were just making up a price. Or leveraging me to move out. I finally had enough dealing with certain individuals and moved to a place $300 more, got an in unit washer dryer and a heated garage. Worth every penny, best decision I made in a long time.
My fiancé and I recently moved from Georgia and we are miserable here. The buildings always smell terrible, walls are thin, and community is rude. Most of all, my sink has been backed up for FOUR days. I put in a maintenance request, called to follow up after 24 hours and was assured that someone would be there first thing in the morning to fix it; that was two days ago.
