I attended a corporate post cocktail hour after a conference , Jeanie walked me up to the roof deck, was so helpful and so kind. Hotel lobby was beautiful, staff very welcoming, and friendly as well. Although I didn’t stay here this time around, they would definitely be a hotel I would stay at in the future !
Something weird happened it was a spring vacation April 24 so we had warm days but air conditioning in the room was not working and we over heard other costumers complaining We decided to talk to the concierge and she told us they turn on the air conditioning "only after the season started". And we asked what does that mean And they explained the air conditioning wont work until summer (or some weird season) started So basically it looks like no rooms have air conditioning today. Speachless I approach the hotel for help, AC the rooms won’t cold . Manager answer : “It’s not summer yet, we turn AC by season .” You should mention this in the reservation
The air conditioning in the hotel is broken (so they say), and no one is doing anything to expedite getting it fixed. It was 82 degrees in NYC today. No A/C? Just ridiculous. They sent up a portable A/C unit to my room that sounds like a jet is taking off, and to top it off, the room darkening shade won't shut because there is an A/C hose in the window. The customer service here is not good, and the staff here is not treating the air conditioning issue like it's important. I won't be staying here again.
