People need to understand that you’re booking at a 3-star hotel and the price reflects that. If you’re looking for a suite in a resort you’re not going to get it for this price-point. The rooms are clean and comfortable, they have modern air con, a fridge and TV, the rooms are a bit dated but you’re not buying them, you’re staying for a night or two. They staff/owners (not sure which) are lovely and the hotel is close to town and within walking distance. A decent overnighter.

We were given room 28 which is upstairs. It’s a bit old school. Clean and tidy. The bonus is it has a large sliding window, that over looks the park at the southern end in winter and gets shade all afternoon. With a nice breeze. It also has a nice big screen . The double bed is superb. With a modern a/c. Fridge, m/wave,jug,toaster, coffee,tea,2mugs. If you need a bowl and dessert spoon for your cereal or plate and knife and fork. You may accidently get woken by loud gun shots (they are firing blanks) if its the time of year flying foxes are in town. Can scare the crap out of you at 4 or 5am if you arent forwarned. Motel is located at a great spot, staff are helpful and friendly, motel is currently undergoing renovations.
