The maintenance visit was done within 3 days of the problem being noticed. The leak appeared to have stopped on its own once the outside temperatures had warmed, with no leaks around the dishwasher found. As the dishwasher had not been used when the water on the floor had been found, I’m not sure that the problem was resolved but at least it had been looked at with no further work deemed necessary at this time.
*EDIT TO ADD they want to charge two months rent before they’ll break your lease, how they weaseled out of it was within the 33 pages, according to Nicole. They will not sign the renters verification for my next place. Point being “oh you may have told us over the phone but it wasn’t written,” although it’s claimed to be recorded and whoever answer has to make documentation about answered calls” So to reiterate if you do not have to move in don’t move in.
