My surgery was good and I have no complaints about that… but like the other reviewers said you need to be aware of their predatory billing practices. They will demand payment up front, without knowing what you will actually owe. They say they talk to your insurance, but they don’t know exactly what will get billed. I told her I would be meeting my deductible with this procedure and she said it didn’t matter. They made me pay $2,400 up front, and my final EOB was $1,300. They owe me more than $1,000 back! Raved to my dad about how well and wonderfully this place is run and he said "Makes me almost hope I need surgery so it can be done there." I've had multiple other out-patient surgical experiences and this was far and away the best. Everything ran so smoothly, and everyone was kind, warm, seemed to like working with each other, and knew exactly what was going on the entire time. My previous review of the Center was very, very positive based on the medical staff. I WOULD STILL LEAVE THAT RATING AS A 5 STAR RATING. However, now dealing with the cost aftermath of my surgery, I need to lower my rating. The Center put together an estimate of my costs for my surgery based on the insurance I provided. I paid that amount on the morning of the surgery. Now I have received another invoice from the Center for an additional amount that is 1.5 times more than the estimated copayment I already made. First time here! I couldn't be more impressed with how professional all the staff were. It was a first time surgery for mt patient and they made her feel so comfortable and calm. Her post-op recovery was so fast and they made sure she was ready to leave when she was up for it. I will definitely make sure I come back to this center when it's time. Thank you staff and providers!
