The pathology here is amazing! My experience today with the lovely Udeni was absolutely incredible. My irrational fear of blood tests had be sweating, crying, feeling faint and vomiting but Udeni made the time to sit with me and make sure I was okay before letting me drive home. She talked me through the mental barrier that comes with the fear and despite being an adult, hearing I was brave was exactly what I needed. The GPs here are hit and miss. I just wanted to share how wonderful Amelia is in Laverty pathology. Amelia has such a kind and friendly manner, she takes the time to explain things clearly and makes sure you’re comfortable throughout the process. I really appreciate her patience and the genuine care she shows. It’s not often you come across someone who can put you at ease so quickly, and Amelia truly stands out.
This clinic refused to see my sick child without a COVID test. Even after the test came back negative, they still would not allow her to be seen in person. We were only offered a Telehealth appointment, during which they kept saying it was “just viral.” This delay in proper care led to my child becoming critically ill — she suffered febrile seizures and was placed in a coma for 48 hours.
