From most to least annoying: Roach Infestation: I saw a collective hundreds of roaches during my yearlong stay here. Some American Roaches, but TONS of German Cockroaches. Stay away if you don't want to be constantly in fear of every itch on your body. I fear they came from a separate tenant. Paper wasps near doorways were annoying. Be warned that this complex is in a low, wet area. Bugs are going to be a problem, and if you're a fan of night walks you'll see probably 50 big roaches in the wetter months. I’m hoping that by writing here, manager Megan will finally respond to my emails and send someone to repair the ceiling in my apartment. I have been asking for help for a long time and nothing has been resolved. I am extremely tired and frustrated with this situation. Tenants pay rent expecting to live in apartments that are properly maintained and safe. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I’ve had a great experience living at Abernathy Square. The community is quiet, pleasant, and well‑maintained. Any maintenance issues I’ve had were fixed quickly by the team. I also want to highlight Mr. Marcus Mosby, the leasing professional who helped me during my move‑in. He has been incredibly helpful, kind, and supportive, making sure all my questions and concerns were addressed right away. His professionalism truly made my transition into this community smooth and stress‑free.
I first visited this community sometime in 2024/2025 with a friend. Initially, I wasn’t too impressed because I had my eye on another apartment complex. However, everything changed during our tour with K’niqua. K’niqua was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough. She answered all our questions and made the entire process feel easy and comfortable.
