I ended up spending several days in the hospital after suffering a mini-stroke. Of course I do not qualify for medicaid or medicare, yet I can't afford Medical Care. The hospital physician told me to call the health department and then he gave me a 15-day prescription of pills that would keep me from dying or having a full-on stroke. I call the health department and they can't even see me for more than 2 months.
