These guys charge a lot for a firm where there isn't a CFP (certified financial planner) on the staff. When your claim to fame is an AIF or CIMA designation, you shouldn't be charging 1%-1.5% annually of assets held. Before you put any money with this firm, I would strongly recommend interviewing a couple of CFP's who at least have a fiduciary responsibility to you the client.
