Dr Charilaou is a rare breed. I met Dr Charilaou during a random routine colonoscopy where we surprisingly discovered significant Crohns. He has been compassionate and helping me come to terms with this diagnosis. Since I am asymptomatic, he’s had to balance understanding the disease from my perspective. I consider myself very lucky, and I’m glad to have him in my corner.
