May be a bit pretentiously out of place, and certainly over priced for the likes of Jackson Heights which remains still more grounded and home grown, despite the barrage of gentrifying businesses pushing in... and I felt this. I was very disappointed in the strawberry shortcake ice cream. It was bad. The cake tasted like sawdust. And it cost $50
I used to love the cakes from Paris Baguette. Yesterday I bought a strawberry shortcake ice cream cake from them because the didn't have the cake I normally buy. CAKE was HORRIBLE!! I was especially pissed because it was a small cake for $50 and it was horrible. The cake part tasted like sawdust. It didn't taste like cake. Ice cream was probably Breyers. In these days I have no money to waste. And that was a complete waste of $50. Noone at my dad's bday dinner liked it
Last night I ordered through Grub Hub and Paris B cancelled my order. The store did not even have 1 item in stock! The website should indicate what they have or not. Now I have to call to refund my payment. Just disgusted!
Workers were very nice and welcoming. Especially Hennessy. 😊
