This was our first time visiting. We were looking for a breakfast sandwich or breakfast pastry. We ordered a breakfast egg, bacon, and cheese croissant thinking we were getting something made fresh, but it was pulled from the case and we were asked if we wanted it warmed. Who wants a cold egg and cheese sandwich? Silly. We ordered 2 sandwiches and an ice coffee for $23.00. The ice coffee was pulled from a fridge also. So not warm coffee over ice. We had placed an order for a birthday cake at Paris Baguette in Wichita, Kansas, and went to pick it up at the agreed time — only to find out it hadn’t even been made. The pastry chef had already left for the day, and all we were offered was a simple refund. There was no explanation, no genuine apology, and not even a small gesture (like a coupon) to make up for the mistake.
