As a proud angel donor this review, comes with a heavy heart as this establishment has been one my family has donated to for many, many years. I recently went in to drop off our annual donation and was met with an older, heavy-set Hispanic woman whom I’ve seen for many years. I walked in with my envelope ready to drop off my donation and was NEVER once greeted. I kindly attempted to make small talk with this woman and asked her name. There are good people working here. They seem to genuinely care about the well being of families in our community. They offer parenting classes, counceling, and supervised visitation for parent and child to spend time together in a supervised setting. Though the parent center is its own "entity" , They are controlled by family and children services who make up most, if not all of there business. This is a fantastic organization that does everything possible to try and keep families together and help parents learn to do the right thing.
The services are good. I like the staff, they are friendly
If you want to lose your kid consider coming here. My ex husband is attempting to take 100% custody of our child. The main reason is because he was in therapy. The only therapist he has seen is at The Parents Center. I called them to ask if they could provide me any documentation that supported the fact that it was not abuse for my child to be seen by their counselor.
