This dr cares about her patients. Following up and checking in, even when she’s on vacation. Impressed!
I saw her for several years and thought I was doing fine up until I wasn't. On our last phone call she told me "you make it hard to do my job" and proceeded to tell me to go off of Thorazine 150 mg cold turkey (it's suggested you taper for 6-8 weeks according to my new psychiatric nurse practitioner or else I could become very sick). She also wanted to put me on haldol while i was on thorazine, which can cause an irregular heartbeat. She is an amazing person. She listens to everything I have to say, she offers advice and takes care of my meds. She is truly a loving caring person. Her office manager Terri is also an amazing part of the team. They both are always willing to answer questions and makes sure I get my meds that I need. I love having them on my team. I couldn't ask for a better office to go to. Blessed Be
The more I saw of Dr. Trutia, the less I cared for her. Oh, and she hates conservatives and the right. Terri at the desk was always kind though. I suppose people like Trutia for her liberal prescription pad.
