Best NOLA experience ever. So not like awful Bourbon street. The food is utterly amazing. Get the roast beef po boy with gravy. Messy as hell and so worth it. Ditto the firecracker shrimp po boy. Spicy and super fresh. Strong drinks and fair prices. Frozen Irish coffee is amazing. Say hello to Squirrel the bartender. She's awesome.
I'd give the food a 5*, but for Pete sake...they have the RUDEST staff I've ever encountered and I've been all over the US and Europe! There is no logical order in which food is prepared. Disgusting. The urine smell vs chemical disc smell of the urinals...yuk. The kitchen is filthy I have no idea how they ever passed a health inspection.
Great food, extremely poor service, and had to wait well over an hour after ordering to get our food. Won't come back.
Spent my last vacation day afternoon at Parasols.. Loved the lunch, the cold drinks, and the friendly atmosphere. Something about Nola always calls me back and this time is Parasols.
This place is on point! I had the chicken wings! The flavors complemented each other. BEST CHICKENS WINGS EVER! Crunchy, juicy, and lots of flavor.
