On my week long vacation to New Orleans, believe me, I made the rounds on bars/restaurants. Duh, right? But I kept going back to Parasol's 50% of my time there because of the service (Katie was my favorite bartender I met there) the food (po boy was the best food I ate there), the friendliest locals ( accommodating... haha), and honestly the cheapest.($6 16oz Schlitz and tulle)

Out of towner who dined in for lunch with my girlfriend. I ordered the firecracker shrimp po' boy on French bread and she had the smoked sausage po' boy. My sandwich was outstanding! The fried shrimp was covered in a spicy sauce and was very flavorful. This is a casual neighborhood spot that's definitely worth checking out! I left extremely satisfied.

Roast beef poboy was amazing and big enough for two of us. Onion rings were perfectly breaded and cooked too. A must try!

It is very quaint and nice. Atmosphere and people was great! Different walks of life and loved how quiet and friendly it is... Food was really good and loved the fries covered in gravy. A friend brought Us there, he is a regular! All the years I've visited/lived here never knew it was there
