In general, it was great to have an experienced loan officer who actually enjoyed working with a variety of loan types, the biggest problem with most lenders out there is that they would simply prefer not to work with programs other than conventional loans. It's as if they're just looking for a quick payday. Vilma was the complete opposite, it was evident to me that there is no loan program out there that she will not work with, she is highly knowledgeable in CalHFA, FHA, USDA, Conventional, etc., you name it.
