What a disappointment – it surprises me that a company that would spend the kind of money that they do to drive people to call them would drop the ball not once, but twice. Greasy Used Car Salesmen of Mortgage Brokerage – We recently tried to refinance our house...both of us with A+ credit, and these people did nothing but lie, and give us the run around about what was going on. One day they needed one thing, the next it was something totally different. All we walked away with was a ton of fees and excuses on why they could not get the loan done week after week, and when we finally backed out, they tried to buy our business back. Great company to work with – I refinanced my home and locked in a low 30 year rate. I called on Wednesday and the appriaser was out the very next day. I spoke with Matt again on Friday and ended up signing my loan documents the following week. I am still shocked at how fast and easy the process was. The whole thing took about 12 days.
Mother Nature catches up – Last year, the state of Washington accused Paramount of “charging and collecting unearned fees, charging consumers to buy down interest rates without actually reducing the rate, failing to make required disclosures and making state and federally required disclosures in a deceptive manner.” This week, Paramount Equity signed a settlement agreement with the state, calling for it to pay the state $253,366 and to pay 52 customers restitution of $139,075.
Finally a quick solution & someone that worked hard for me! – I shop around, but what I found out was that the more I looked the more stories I got from brokers, but one thing was consistent. "Most loans close in 30-60 days". What a pain in the ...you know what... Paramount is garbage – I used to work there...go to a bank, these guys are sleezy and are just out to make money off of you. NOTHING they say can be backed up. Don't be a fool...look at the fees!!!
