Insurance is a scam. You pay all year and then they drop you before you can use your benefits. Last time they’ll get my money
After a routine dentist visit I learned that the insurance I thought was safely on autopay had been canceled due to “nonpayment.” No notice, no heads up, just an unpleasant surprise. What followed was a Kafkaesque series of phone tag with Paramount and the Marketplace, each one telling me to wait a few days for the system to catch up. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. I have had countless issues with them - the most recent being they have my account ‘past due’ despite my bank showing records of the payment posted a month ago. I always pay early. When I call to address it, I am told the individual responsible for that area will give me a call NEXT WEEK. The absolute worst dental insurance in the world. Borderline scammers. They cover absolutely minimal anything, fight you on any coverage, and are expensive.
The website unbelievably bad. My account was merged with someone else allowing me to view their information. Once that was straightened out, the website is so so bad it makes me paranoid that this company isn’t even legitimate. I have yet to use my dental insurance and I would be surprised if can actually use it.
