Brought my ford f150 in for small vcct sensors change , and had got quated 400$ for my service after agreeing he started the work , and day later he updates me that it’s harder than he imagined and had broke valve cover that I need to replace , now being 200$. Each valve cover and their being two , he said he might brake the other side while removing the other valve cover I said no to buying his 400$ valve covers and that I would buy my aftermarket better racing ones for cheaper , well fast forward I had went with no check e... read more
My brother took his truck in to remove some bolts and a sensor, they damaged some parts while removing, he came in with no check engine light but left with one. And they wanted to charge him more to fix what they had done wrong. Took it to another shop and the issue was resolved in no time.
