Para med forgot they are there to assist the clients, not the other way around. I told them from the beginning that I needed a cleaner at a certain time and why. They did not accommodate the first week, so I had to cancel. They did the second week, then it was a battle every week to get them to accommodate me. I wish I can give 0 stars , paraMed I’m former worker, they don’t care about their workers, you work long hours and then every pay-check you must spend time to discuss your hours you work hard, clear communication and understanding is missing, clients are always telling you their frustrations about feeling neglected by ParaMed, I spent very stressful time working with them.
Horrible experience so far. Was supposed to have someone help my mom post surgery. So far Received 6 calls and every time new voice and new appointment time. Not a great experience so far. Not effective utilization of healthcare funds.
My mother had surgery and was told Paramed would come to help change her dressings and check on her after surgery. Not only did Paramed send the wrong supplies to the house, the nurse was several hours late. He asked a bunch of questions but never checked the surgical site or took my mother's temperature to check for fever or anything. He says he'll come back the next day once the right supplies are dropped off, but no-shows. He no-showed again yesterday as well. This is unacceptable.
The people who come to help are great. The people responsible for sending them are the worst. I have been dealing with them for 7 months. Whenever a change is made they never advise you. If it’s a no-show, they don’t advise you. I could go on & on. This company is very unprofessional and very unreliable. They began 7 months ago & I told them they had 2 erroneous phone numbers in their system. One had an incorrect area code & the other was a cell phone last used 10+ years ago.
