This place needs to be shut down. My doctors orders said that I needed dressing changing once a week and they wouldn’t let me come anytime before that despite me needing it to be changed when wet or possibly getting sepsis. They threatened to cancel my care because I needed to come in before one week. Extremely disrespectful and have spam called me up to 5 times a day despite me telling them not to. Extremely unprofessional and downright negligent, they don’t deserve to have licenses.
I had a catheter inserted two weeks ago. It wasn’t right and wasn’t properly passing urine. I kept getting an urgency to pee. A week later I had blood in my pee and it still was not easily passing urine. I saw my doctor who confirmed the presence of blood and ordered a ‘pee’ culture. Two days ago, on October 28, it stopped working altogether. I went to paramed. I was truly amazed and thankful for the home care I received from Paramed. I had care for a post surgery wound. Nurse Rachel was assigned to my case. I was immediately at ease. She sure knew what she was doing and she was so gentle with her care. She was so good that I healed up quickly with no complications. Actually maybe too quickly because I really enjoyed her visits. The most unorganized facility I have ever been to. They have no proper reception for easy booking and rescheduling. You have to call and be transferred to there coordinator in which requires you to wait for sometimes 10 minutes or more and sometimes a call back. I called about air in my husband's tubing as I was very concerned about the amount. And I never received a call back in regards to that. We had to go to emerge.
