Our house plan did not include steps from our deck but we did not want to lose the view from some of our windows so we opted for a spiral staircase. The sales representative, Kim Schooley, was very helpful ensuring that we received exactly what we wanted. The only issue that we had was when installing, the powder coating was also inside the portion of the stair that goes on to the pole. Therefore, it was very difficult to get some of them on the pole. Sales people were great was delivered quickly. Just upset that a few weeks in after I paid for painted stairs I am seeing rust on the main support pipe and the bolts under the stairs.
Design experience was great, the product shipped on time and the major components/ (stringers, treads) were built to spec. There were some fabrication issues with some of the smaller parts (holes pre-drilled too small for specified bolts, some holes drilled in the incorrect location, railing tabs welded incorrectly)
We purchased a spiral staircase for a building that has a loft. The staircase is well engineered & it is exactly what we wanted.
