I cosigned on an apartment, in mid-July 2023, for my adult autistic son at 199 South Allen Street in Albany, where he still resides. Since moving in, his living room ceiling has leaked more than six times, from a defective roof drain/lateral drain system and aging roof. This place was absolutely horrible when it came to me and my roommate dealing mold. They did absolutely nothing to remediate the apartment and when we proceeded to not pay rent because the mold inspector said it was inhabitable, they left us with no where to go. Disgusting.
