The same thing happened to me when I just asked for a quote, they contacted the adjuster to get it approved when I told them I am getting several quotes. Between that and these reviews, I did not use them. And they asked for 100% of the money up front. Nope!
I had an insurance claim and was looking for contractors to do certain, specific, things because I had the rest taken care of already. I called to request an estimate for those things and Paragon came out to give an estimate. They ultimately declined to do any of the work - they wanted all or nothing. I totally understand if the job was too small for them - although it was exactly what I described when I called for an estimate.
