We love the Paragon. Initially, we resided in a one-bedroom apartment with a captivating view of the pool, palm trees, and the moonlit sky. After a year, we upgraded to a two-bedroom unit to accommodate visits from family and friends and now enjoy scenic mountain views. What was once an idyllic resort-like living situation has turned into a nightmare. The cause of this transformation is Sequoia Management's decision to make it profitable by allowing voucher residents, also known as Section 8, into the community. Sequoia equities business practices and management teams have been implicated in significant levels of fraud against their tenants. I’ve accounted for over 100k being added and concealed above the agreed on terms. They’ll reissue your contract with altered terms to reflect 11 months then use that “miscommunication to balance the books, or attempt to. A lot of hidden fees upon move out. Beware before you move in. you are paying 300 dollars for carpet cleaning. And 200 dollars for apartment cleaning. 800 dollar bills total during move out when we don’t have any damage to the place, not to mention crackheads lives everywhere. do NOT rent at this apartment complex. A majority of the reviews here are good but more than likely fake, check Yelp reviews for a more accurate look. This place made me a lease holder when I applied as an occupant with someone I was dating without my permission and then they sent me the apartments debt. These people will lie to your face. 1 Star is way too much for Cortland’s customer service. We formerly lived at Cortland Village Apartments. We stayed there from March 24th 2020 to Sep 19 2020. It was a one-year contract and we stayed there almost 6 months. If you are looking for reviews and considering moving in, PLEASE DO NOT MOVE IN. Is awful place to live . Management is worse . They are very rude and they don’t do anything there . Area is not safe at all . For 3 bedroom they just give you 1 parking and second one they charged you 80 box per months. If you want a review that is not biased, influenced by a raffle giveaway by the apartment complex, or by friends of apartment management, this is the review you should consider. Dog friendly property with good maintenance. That being said, residents here are extremely loud, rude, and inconsiderate. People here do not care if you are being disturbed.
