Do not recommend for tooth extractions unless you are sent to an oral surgeon. Literally left a gaping tear from my gum to my sinus. Infection spread to my home and sinus. Had to have 2 types of IV antibiotics at an ER. Tons of pain. Do not allow this doc to pull your teeth!!!!!!

Dr. Nestlerode has been my family's doctor for as long as I can remember. The girls in the office are nice. The doctor has always been nice too. The building is kind of old looking but there are TVs and stuff inside the rooms so it's got new stuff too. Usually just have cleanings done, but fillings last time went ok.

I had a horrible toothache going into the holiday and I had to find someone who could get me in fast. One of my coworkers said she'd been seeing Dr. Nestlerode for a couple of years, and suggested I call his office. I'm so glad I did. The tooth needed a root canal, and it would have gotten worse over the long weekend. Dr. Nestlerode was very gentle and the procedure only took about an hour. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Nestlerode and his staff and I really felt like I needed to share it. My friend has been seeing him for several years and she kept telling me how great her dentist is, so I decided to check him out for myself. For starters, the office staff was fantastic. The lady who answered the phone answered about a million questions, and didn't miss a beat. She got me in right away, and even contacted my insurance company for me to make sure I had coverage. The doctor and his staff were good to me. I came in because I needed a crown and he had the best price, but he's really gentle and the tooth looks like it's a normal tooth.

I wanted to have veneers done in time for my sister's wedding and planned to have them done somewhere else. Both of my front teeth had huge chips that had been there for years. I had an issue with the other office, and Dr. Nestlerode's staff worked me in. I was a little worried that the time concerns would be an issue, but my veneers are absolutely perfect. I really can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Nestlerode and his staff. My experience with them was really unique, because I found him by accident. I had a really bad toothache and scheduled an appointment with another dentist in his plaza. I accidentally went into his office instead, but the secretary was nice and gave me directions to the person I was scheduled with. This was my first visit to Paradise Valley Dental and I would recommend them to anyone. The staff was super friendly and Dr. Nestlerode made me feel very comfortable while having my procedure done. from the numbing shots that i barely felt to the following day it was probably one of the most pain free and pleasant experiences i have ever had at a dentist. I was recommended from a friend to try out Dr. Nestlerode and I'm extremely happy I did. I've had a number of dentists in the past and I can honestly say that not only is his work terrific, he is a genuinely caring guy. He didn't try to sell me on anything, which is what I'm used to from other dentists, and he is very down to earth and friendly. I'm always reluctant toward dentists but I'm happy I found this one. Great dentist, friendly and professional staff, and great guy! Thank you so much.
