The venue is gorgeous, and Amber was excellent. It's a shame the whole experience has been ruined by the fact that we can't get our couple thousand dollar deposit back. Instead of refunding the deposit to our card, the venue sent a check in the mail. Our mail was stolen and we filed a police report. We also alerted the venue immediately. We spoke with the venue's bank, who reiterated that it would be the sole responsibility of the venue to file a fraud claim since they were the issuer of the check and the fraud happened on t... read more
