BUYER BEWARE!!!! We have a fairly good-sized pond that had become overrun with cattails and we hired Michael Barber and Paradis Ponds on January 13, 2025 to come in and thin the population out. Michael seemed confident that he could get the job done and at first was extremely communicative and responsive to our inquiries. Do NOT hire Hired Michael for deep clean and he did a Lazy and bad job My pond still looks dirty and he killed 2 of koi fishes cause it didn’t occur to him to put a pump. Save yourself a headache and run away from this company
I hired Michael to do a spring cleanup including thinning out the irises. I asked him to please be very careful not to cause leaks and to just do his best. He did a good job of cleaning out the muck and got a lot of the irises but caused a big leak. I've tried many times to reach him to come and fix it but no response and his phone goes straight to voicemail. I was hoping to find a reliable person to help me with this pond from time to time but it definitely won't be him! UPDATE: Michael contacted me and agreed to come out a... read more

My experience with Michael started out great. He rebuilt our pond to my liking. He suggested that we install a UV light filtration system which cost me an extra $2000. He promised us he would be out for care and maintenance as time progressed and help with many other things. After the UV light filtration system was installed we discovered it was leaking very badly.
