Wanna wait two hours for food come here this plays blows and is ALWAYS slow
So last year we came here to eat, waited over an hour and a half for our food which came out cold… came back this year to give them another try.. very few people in the place, plenty of staff working and once again over an hour for a burger and fries.. staff is very poorly trained, hardly know the menu and our waitress didn’t know what gluten free was (my wife has celiacs) it’s too bad because the place is beautiful and the location is beautiful but whoever the owner is they aren’t training their staff very well.
Came to Balsam Lake Lodge for a nice meal and drinks with my friends. Before our meal we decided to rent one of the pontoons and had a great experience! The smash burgers were phenomenal, but our server, Lauren M. Was fantastic, she made us feel welcomed and even convinced me to try one of the desserts-No crumb was left. 10/10 experience, we will be coming back.
Gorgeous Location, But Poor Service Holds It Back This is a beautiful spot with a great marina and plenty of space for your boat. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, which is a plus. However, the service is seriously lacking. It’s clear they need to invest in staffing .Word is already spreading that you can’t even get a drink on the patio, and unfortunately, it’s true.
