TLDR: Do not go to Paradigm if you have higher needs, they will violate your rights to treatment, and discriminate against people who have Medicaid. I had been seeing Brooke at Paradigm for almost two years. I ended up in a crisis situation and due to a lapse in insurance; I had lost my job and my insurance, but had to wait for my health plan with Medicaid to take effect the following month before she could see me. I was told by CMH to contact this place, because they offer telehealth services and have real Psychiatrists who could assist me. For management of medication I have been told I need a Psychiatrist for it. Simply because I need a little more than the max dose that regular PCPs are allowed(willing) to go. I also have NO options in my area... because there aren't any. CMH is it and requires months and months of "Counseling" before you can even see the 1 Psychiatrist they have . Brooke and her team have the absolute highest standards and treat every patient with great care. Paradigm is a valuable resource for our community and I personally refer clients here regularly.
