Came for a visit and we were DELIGHTED! Clean, food was phenomenal and service was fast and friendly!! 10/10
Papous Pita is such a great Biddeford spot for Greek and Mediterranean food. The menu keeps things pretty straightforward with pitas, bowls, gyro, chicken, lamb, and plenty of fresh sides, which is exactly what makes it work. It’s casual, reasonably easy to grab on the go, and definitely worth checking out if you’re spending time downtown.
Delicious local Greek food! As the granddaughter of Greek immigrants, I have a high standard and this definitely tastes like Papou’s gyro :)
Wow what a wonderful, refreshing lunch we had. We have been let down by too many places that claimed to be good but this one held up to its reviews. The taste was spot on. Beef and lamb was tender, sauce delicious and that pita was divine. My husband got the chicken and he said his eyes rolled back. First time I haven’t felt ripped off in a while so thank you for not letting us down.
