I arrived at Papillion Nails studio on September 12 at 12:45 PM and was immediately told by Jimmy , the owner, that I was 15 minutes late for my appointment with him and that it was now "too late". I told him that I I believed myappointment was at 12:45 and that since I booked an hour and 20 minute appointment with him, I should have one hour and five minutes left even if was "late" which I don't believe that I was. My favorite nail salon in Santa Barbara. It’s consistently clean, efficient, relaxing and my nails always look great. Especially my cuticles. The polish is always applied really well and lasts. So glad I found papillon!

Was able to go for the first time with a friend this past week. Was super satisfied with the attention to detail that was given. I had many options to choose from. Quick and efficient and made sure that I was happy. I felt it was extremely reasonably priced as well. Would come again next time I’m in Santa Barbara.

Tech did not do basic cuticle work and started the paint high up on the nail, so the 80 dollar manicure looks 2 weeks old when leaving the shop. Feel ripped off and won’t be returning. Do not recommend. It’s completely rushed and there is no attention to detail, the paint is not even covering the nail in some places.
