Below Expectations. I got catfished. Used to be papi’s tacos.. now papis kitchen. I think it was told to me, like papis but fine dining. But we’re talking tacos here. The last thing I personally want is another $7 taco place. Perhaps it changed to adapt for better business but I’d like to state that this move lost me. Service of course was nice. Just strange to eat small, premium tacos outside near the sidewalk. If it were like the other Papis, I’d be there.
I had an awful experience here with my husband. We came on 6/17/26 around 2pm. The restaurant was dead. It was a beautiful day so my husband and I decided to sit outside. Our waiter came out and i immediately got a red flag vibe from the guy. We asked him what drink specials they had, he came back with a “I have no idea, let me check.
