Food was terrible. It was cold, mashed potatoes was very dry like they were not real mashed potatoes. Chicken fingers was overcooked. Second time I’ve been there and this has happened. Sorry Dawn to put your place down but the staff was to busy socializing instead of paying attention to customers.
Have you been to Papa’s Place? Why not?! This home town, southern-style, restaurant is a family business with a friendly staff. Pictures of family on the walls remind you of being told “go in the kitchen and fix ya a plate”. The locals know this is the place to come for good food and you may run into your neighbor. They have cute gifts and seasonal items for sale as well as a bakery case for a take home treat. Next time you’re in Dawsonville stop by for bite. But come hungry. You won’t be disappointed.
