Super friendly staff, food is amazing. I’m my opinion it’s better than other competitors like mountaineer bbq. Can’t beat the prices as well. Will definitely be returning in the future:)
I purchased a kids' ribs meal from Papas Chicken and Ribs Catering/Carryout Company at the fair. Unfortunately, the first order I received was unacceptable. The ribs were badly burnt and too overcooked to eat. I returned the meal, and the gentleman at the counter opened the container and asked what was wrong. After seeing the ribs, he acknowledged they were overcooked and asked if I wanted a replacement. I accepted, and the replacement ribs were much better. This spot needs a HUGE sign, because if you're not really paying attention (I wasn't) you miss it. They have a Southern, Down-Home/Country feel and they're genuine. The food? I hadn't tried Caribbean Turkey Legs, and it was a balanced taste. Same with the ribs, I think they smoked them, while the sauce wasn't sugary sweet,overpowering or watered down. I haven't eaten here yet, but absolutely will be. My 73 yr old Father broke the clutch handle off his motorcycle after dropping it on his foot. He was pinned. Then someone from this establishment, a young man immediately helped my Dad and got the bike off of him. They told him to eat, and when he was ready they would take him home. His bike was there for about a week, before he got the part to fix it and take it home. Just saying, any business with morals like this and kindness in excess will always have my business!
