Amazing good, amazing service. Our server was very nice and caring. 5 stars isn’t enough!
My wife and I had been wanting to try this place for a while. We’ve searched far and wide in McKinney and Allen for decent Tex Mex and haven’t really found our spot yet. Papa Lopez kind of has mid reviews but the other spots that had better reviews have been pretty meh. So regardless we wanted to give it a shot and I’m so glad we did! Giving 1 star b/c my wife told me the next day that our receipt had a $2.58 "service charge" added. She waited to tell me b/c she knew I would have never paid it. Had not been to Papa Lopez in around 3 years b/c the last time I went the waiter "fat fingered" the tip in his favor from my 20% to over 30%. I had taken a pic of the receipt and then my credit card bill comes in. They reimbursed me when I showed a copy. After 3 years figured I would give another chance.
