Doctor Paonessa is THE BEST physician I have ever gone to in my LIFE! I was recently diagnosed with cancer, and let me tell you there is no one more caring and knowledgeable, who took the time out to carefully explain everything to me in detail. Every procedure she did was done with great skill but not only that, but also with feeling from one human being understanding what another human being is going through and feeling. Dr. Paonessa is an incredible doctor/surgeon. Have been going to her for a few years and she makes what could be an uncomfortable situation, comfortable. The office is very nice. The only negative is the receptionist(s) are extremely loud. Even for the hard of hearing, very very loud. They need to dial it down a bit. It was so bad it became a source of humor for all of us in the waiting room.
I was so incredibly shocked by Doctor Paonessa's ability to make you feel so comfortable in a medical setting. I have never experienced any doctor that has the amount of patience, empathy, kindness and knowledge as Dr. Paonessa has. I was not only was a patient I actually felt part of her family. Dr Paonessa is just a phenomenal physician and holistic medical caretaker/angel. She is skilled, extremely knowledgeable and versed in all the latest treatments and breakthroughs while also caring for the whole person in the kindest, most compassionate manner. I feel better after every visit regardless of the news of the day involving my Crohn's disease. Thanks so much Dr. Paonessa!!
She is the best caring doctor I have ever met and the doctor-very competent .she saved my life and I have referred many people to her . I wish more physicians were like her. My wife is an RN many years and she was very impressed with her skill and caring
There are no words to express the experience I have had with Dr. Paonessa She is in a league of her own Her abilities and talents as a surgeon can certainly not be matched with anyone in her field. The UNDERSTANDING PATIENCE and WARMTH that she expresses with her patients are OUTSTANDING! Her reputation as a surgeon is truly remarkable. I recommend her without reservation or hesitation Her staff is unbelievable! They go out of their way to perform and help you above and beyond expectations!

After an overseas visit I experienced a painful fissure. Dr. Paonessa took her time with explaining everything to me and comforting me. I was able to ask all the questions I needed and cry a river- after medicine, change in diet and time, celebrate with Dr. Paonessa that I was healed. The entire office staff and Dr. Paonessa were so patient and caring - I'd recommend them to anyone.
