I am beyond disappointed in how this apartment complex Brio Park in Madison Alabama has handled a recent situation involving my parents and their dog. My parents own a tiny Chihuahua that weighs less than 4 pounds and is fully vaccinated. The complex is now claiming that this small dog “aggressively attacked” a woman, and that she had to be rushed to the hospital and receive rabies shots. I live in a property in Madison, AL called The Villas at Capital Twenty and it is managed by this company. Last week I reported multiple mice in my garage and was told by the local apartment office that I had to wait until the designated pest control day this Wednesday to have it addressed. This company completely violated our rights during the apartment application process regarding service animals and people with disabilities. We were forced to create PetScreening accounts just to move forward, and the process required us to answer intrusive and unnecessary questions that go far beyond what the law requires. I am an employee of PRM as well as a resident and have been here for nearly 5 years. It is a great place to work and raise a family. They clearly care about the people that work for them and the properties in their portfolio.
