Dirty stained tub, gross carpet, windows don't work sides were broken so don't move up and down. had to move rooms because people above us were so loud at 3 am we couldn't sleep for days. Paniolo Greens, there has to be a resolution much easier than what has been provided to me regarding my request to cancel this contract. I have spoken with several people, all of whom have not completed this request. I've spoken with the General Manager, Doug; I've spoken with Sally Thompson, Angela Krauss, and Sara Keeth. This review is more based on interaction between Expedia and the property manager and not receiving a refund. I think in the case of Hurricane Lala hitting Big Island on August 8th and severely affecting a lot of the island with parts of the highway and roads collapsed/damaged, beaches destroyed and a brown water advisory in place for the state of Hawaii that a refund would be justified for a cancellation of trip for the end of August. Pretty out dated but still functional. They do charge for AC.
It was fine. The condos are clean and spacious. The pool area is nice enough. The fitness center is a treadmill and stack of weights. I think there was also a cable machine. The upstairs neighbors were either incredibly loud or the floors were thin, as we heard every movement. It’s also very windy up in Waikoloa Village, especially in the evening.
