Worst dine in experience of all time . I came here to eat not knowing what to expect because I’m not from here . It took 5+ minutes for us to even get someone up to the register to take our order , so we just went and ordered through the quick order . Don’t leave your car here under any circumstances. Yes, there are signs warning that you’ll be subject to towing if you step off the property—but I walked directly across the street to Chipotle for *maybe 45 seconds to a minute*. When I returned, my truck was already being towed. The parking lot was nearly empty, and it wasn’t a busy day. Chapel Hill has no laws protecting citizens from predatory towing—which this *most certainly is*. Extremely shady business practices are taking place here.
THEY WILL TOW YOU!!! Panera is bitter that no one wants their crappy dry food and will tow you if you use their parking lot to go off property. The next door Chipotle has way less parking and way more customers. So, when I went to pick up a to go order the other day, I parked at Panera. I was gone “FOREVER” (maybe 5 minutes), but when I came back my car was hooked up to the tow. The guy pointed to a sign THAT WAS BLOCKED BY ANOTHER CAR. I couldnt even see it from my parking space!!!
