I don't know what that previous reviewer expected, but Panera's has the best soup and bread in town. Bread is NOT supposed to be like Wonder Bread doughy junk. It is supposed to be chewy. Ask the French or the Italians or the Germans. Excellent food at a reasonable price. I rate if very high.
I tried them once and I was not impressed. The bread was hard and chewy and I just didn't care for their food at all. Never went back.
