Corporate bought by private equity (JAB) and is slowly destroying the brand like they do with every other PI purchase. I honestly feel sorry for the franchisee. Panera has always been a little more pricey, but quality was there and consistent. My recent visit was really disappointing. The food was just not what it used to be. it was my first time coming to Panera. I came with my fiancé. The manager was very helpful and helping us sign up and placing our orders. The food was good. The atmosphere was clean and the service was wonderful.
